I am looking to get some slip ons. I am looking a few right now, mainly the Cobra slash pipes and the supertrapps.

I like the look of the Cobra's, but don't know how they compare to the supertrapps. I am looking mainly for looks, sound and performance - I don't need that much better when it comes to performance, but I definitely want them to perform better than the stock.

There are the one's I am looking at. ANY advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance.

Pretty much ALL slip-ons will do nothing more than add sound and remove weight. Cobra's IMO look the best but quite literally reduce horsepower and by a considerable amount. I also don't think they sound all that great. Supertrapps however sound mean as hell and do not reduce the power. I'd stick with the stainless supers. They stay looking better longer.

For real power and better sound go with a Kerker 4-1, Marks exhaust, or Holeshot 4-2.

You can find links to all these in our VMF links page by hitting the button in the above dock.

Also... Buy Kerker or Supertrapp from Sean Morley. He's got a great price and even better service.

Seans email is [email protected]

Thanks for your advice Chris!

Are the two SS supertrapps the same or is the megaphone different? I will also e-mail Sean.

Truly not sure... I believe they are interchangeable but not every having them I'm not sure.

The brackets are welded on differently for one but the biggest difference is the adapters that allow the pipes to join. You can't use one side for the other.

You might look into Kerker slip-ons. I have a chrome set and really like them. I also have a new SS Supertrapp set and still keep the Kerkers on for the looks and they sound great. Sorry for the poor quality picture.

Nice looking bike!!!!:clapping:

Thanks for everyone's advice!

I just wanted to send my thanks to Sean at Morley's muscle. I ended up getting the Kerker 4-1 with the competition baffle. I can't tell you how excited I am, its like a whole new bike - it is bad ass!

I work in Luxury retail and I can tell you that Sean's service was first class, he truely went above and beyond for me - as I live out of the country and I needed it shipped right away.

Thanks Sean! I will recommend that anyone needing an exhaust sytem or pipes give Sean a call.

i've always liked m-cman's bike. he keeps promising good pics.

+1 Absolutely one of the sharpest on the forum!! Tons of nice mods but what impresses me the most are the perfectly aligned orange stripes on the wheels.

I tried to put a red stripe on my black front wheel and it looked more like a bleeding slug trail than a stripe!! :bang head:

That is not as easy to do as you might think, and explains why my wheels are black!! :biglaugh:

are the kerkers usually a full system or they also have just slip on???
