I took these of a 09 Vmax on the dealer floor where I ordered my bike.

Looks good!

I didn't realize that the bike was pretty much all together in shipping? Last crate bike I saw was 10 years ago and the only thing assembled was engine.

Sean, time to make adapters for those calipers. :)

1st photo second row shows tire swingarm clearance. The swing arm has a cut out at that location that has a plastic cover over it. So it looks like extra clearance can be had by removing the plastic cover which I assume exposes the drive shaft.

Nice pics dude! Anyone else get the idea that this thing is gonna be a bitch to keep clean? After seeing those detailed shots especially the front end made think, I have a hard enough time now keeping it presentable. Doesn't look like much space and lots of nooks and crannies. I might have to increase my S100 budget and buy some "Pimp Stiks"
I still want one though!:ummm:

The headlight housing appears to be cast alloy. The fake tank cover is still steel. The battery is smaller and sits on a angle almost above the rear cylinders. The antilock brake system is under the seat and I believe it has an in tank fuel pump which is accessable under the seat. From a mechanics standpoint it looks like an easy bike to service and work on in general.

This unlike most of the Star V-twins most of which make me want to kill the design engineer. Well I guess they are right up there with the aftermarket parts design folks anyway.
