developed an oil leak

i've noticed over the last day or two that i have an oil leak on the left side, especially when on the side stand (that makes sense)

i appears to be the "crankcase cover, left" seeping at the bottom.

my question is, could it be something else that i'm missing since i'm a newb?

Check the shiftshaft seal from underneath. Also, remove the rubber cover that covers the clutch bleeder valve. Is there any oil coming through the stator or p/u coil grommets? Another possibility is the neutral switch.
