Fuel psi

Anyone know what the fuel pressure is susposed to be on the vmax? I am having cylinders drop out almost like its running out of gas. Checked psi and it only has about 1.5 psi. Is the pump bad? Thanks

Sounds a little weak. I thought it was around 3 psi?? Flow is more important then pressure though.

As mentioned pressure should be around 3 psi.
Your fuel fillter may be clogged.
You may also check Your fuel pump. They like to swallow shit from tank.

Check out the thread satarie has provided. If you pull that pump out and disassemble it, pay close attention to the tiny rubber check valve parts on both intake and output side of the pump. They are notorious for becoming unseated and one or more may need to be pushed back into possition in order for your pump to build the right pressure.

An hour or so tear down time and repair can last months and much longer - lots easier on the old wallet than replacing the whole pump.
