I just purchased some new handle bar grips.
Any tips on how to remove the old ones?

-Paul

best way to remove old ones is to cut them, if you can't just pull them off.

Also remember that heat always helps - warm rubber is softer.

small air blower and blow into the grip. It will inflate and allow you to pull it off. Works like a champ and even allows you to reuse the grip on the new bar.

Thank you! These are older grips and one doesnt look to good so I think I will just cut them. I am replacing with newer ones.

That is excellent info Sean, do you use a an air compresor with a blower nozzle and blow into side of the grip opposite the bar end?

Just blow UNDER the grip and the old one slides off. Reverse the procedure to install the new ones.
