This subject has been debated for several years on one of the FJR forums. The concensus was no performance gains, but longevity was much better than the regular plugs. On my max, which I put about 3 to 4 thousand miles a year on, it is a non factor. My FJR, which I put many more miles on, will benifit much more from them.

After riding for a while with iridium, I went back to the regular ones for comparing.
Looks like the bike behave much better and show a bit more torque.
Maybe a feeling, but It's really noticeable.
On the other end, the bike starts the same way.
I don't know why but even after a fine tuning, I still don't need any choke :p

Just about to change my plugs to DP8ae-9 NGK. I have been having a start problem it takes a bit to get started first thing, warm starts are ok but not fantastic . I've just blown the carbys and cleaned the filter (not dirty) any thoughts?
