Is anyone running longer than stock shocks? I want to raise my bike so would like to hear from members running 13.5"or 14" long shocks or longer. Want hear how it affects handling. Thanks

I just installed 13" Progressive HD's with a 1" lowered front. Longer should make it handle quicker and keep the front on the ground better. Smoking the rear tire first. If that helps.

Yes, it has been done but not normally anything most do. You could get a set of ZRX shocks. Modify the shock bushings (swap them over from your stock shocks). They are 14.25" long.

Fred, how have the longer shocks affected handling?

I can't tell you what you need to know. Im running a 300 in the back and a 160 in the front with USD forks and a whole lot of other mods. I just wanted to raise the rear a bit more...
