I MEASURED the rear shock eyelets center to center i get 12.75" bike parked. I found some 11.4" adjustable replacements. So hears the dum question.... Does the 1.25" diffrence in the two shocks translate to the bike being lowered 1.25" in the rear ?

Tried a pair of 412's in 12 inch. Love the geometry/stance but the 444's spoil me for the ride. Have a mint pair of 13" black Progressive 444s with standard and heavy duty springs, and a very nice pair of chrome 12" Progressive 412s, in case you might be inclined to work a swap. Or cash...

Selling off some unused or extra parts. Set of '85-92 front calipers. A bit dirty and could use a set of new pads due to a leaky fork seal dribbling on the left pads. $40+shipping Used pair of '85-92 front rotors. Worked great but I upgraded to larger front rotors and Hayabusa calipers...

If ya need a set, you can get these for the cost of shipping. They're original to the 85, not pretty, but they'll clean up ok. Lotsa miles on them, too. I've got a set of the rear pegs for the 85, too. They will come with the shocks, again free.

At 5'7" Id like to lower the bike 2 or so inches. If i must buy the 280$ 11" progresive rear shocks so be it. However a search on the web found me 280mm-11" rear motorcycle shocks for 80 - 100$ a pair....asuming their for a street bike and my bolts fit thru them...Has anyone gone this route or...
