Morgan Carb Tune

Just bought a new Carbtune Pro, Followed all the directions that came with it and checked all the info on the Forum.The rods are just bearly moving off the the bottom. I took the restricters off and the rods move fine but fluctuate wildly. I checked for kinks and air leaks found none.I can get the rods to move but not until 3000 rpm. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Lay it out and take a picture of how you have it set up, a picture is 1,000 words.

Sounds like a intake leak or a problem with the gauge.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing. I bought it on line from the west coast and I live on the east coast.It came US mail It took a week to get here.I'll see if I can borrow one from someone to see if its the unit itself.

I use mine with the restrictors in.:biglaugh:

Unlike the Mercury type----the Morgan must be VERTICAL.

I would try it on another bike. That'll tell you if it's your bike or the carbtune itself. Even a twin carb would work, just check two at a time.
