Unfortunately it leaves all us east-coasters SOL, but for the people in the midwest and "left coast", it gives you the chance to get a good look at/ride with a big group of the new Motus bikes. Sounds like this is their "work the bugs out" voyage, but a pretty cool way to get the word out. Find out the little quirks or annoyances of "real world" bike use that aren't apparent in the initial design.
It does say there will be other tours to hit the rest of the country later on though.
