Need help adjusting headlight

In my first attempt at replacing the headlight bulb, I accidently turned the wrong 2 screws and messed up my beam adjustment. :bang head:
Can anyone give me some "garage" type adjustments to get me in the ball park so I don't have to sit in the middle of a dark road at night and tweak on it?
At the moment (stock bike) at 10ft away from the wall, the top of my low beam is just under 3ft high and just left of center. Does anyone have some numbers like this that will maximize my night visablilty and not upset oncoming traffic?
