Radiator conduit

Is that rubber conduit that directs air from the radiator over the top of the motor needed? If not I am gonna throw that ugly POS in the trash!

I would keep that one. I removed the rear one though, no adverse affects.

Brian,I took mine off with out any problems.Looks way better.Its been a couple years now.The rubber boot.

I dont remember my ZRX having anything like that, I think I will take it off but keep it just in case.

I just took a pair of scissors and trimmed mine so that it can not be seen without looking underneath the scoops......

I was mostly concerned not about air flow but complete removal letting the radiator fan blow water and crap all up into the TCI and coil area..

That and getting rid of those ugly black plastic covers over the valve covers really cleans the look of the bike up...

No ill affects from it that I can tell...
