Just got through painting wheels in the swing arm. Polishing the scoops and the side covers. And had the bodywork wrapped in red metallic. Pretty pleased with it so far!

Looks great. What is the process in polishing the scoops? Did you remove them & send them to someone like a chrome shop or did you do it yourself? I believe the scoops are clear coated so does that original coating have to be removed then a clear coat reapplied after polishing to keep them looking good?

Well, I guess I could claim to have sanded them down and polish them myself lol but I sent them out to a polishing shop in Daytona Beach. The gentleman does a beautiful job and has been around for many years. It was a grand total of $150.
I just use ceramic coating on them to keep them nice.
