I was wondering how people know what wheels will fit on their said bikes...? I'm used to how simple it is on cars, like 5x100 or 4x108, etc. How does it work for bikes?

wheels for bike s are bike specific, they are not interchangeable without some modifications.

are you looking for a wheel to fit the vmax?

there is a front wheel that will work with simple mods. a mid to late 90's yzf 600. other than that your looking at major work to modify a wheel to fit the max.

I don't own a VMax. I'm just referring to motorcycle wheels in general; yzf, GS, VMax, H-D, etc.

It's much more convulted then that. Most times the only hope of swapping is from brand to brand but not necessarily from model to model.
