Slave cylinder - Venture same as VMAX?

Slowly making progress on the 85, carbs are off getting rebuilt, got the fuel tank drained and flushed today, started to work on the clutch hydraulics. Was BONE dry, by the time I got it cleaned out and fluid through the system, had a nice leak at the slave cylinder, not unexpected for a bike that's been off the road 15 years. Anyway, I have access to an 86 or 87 Venture parts bike, would the slave cylinders be compatible? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The slave body itself is the same but you'll need to swap over your extension and elbow. Probably just need to take yours apart and clean up the corrosion and put it back together.

Yea, you're probably right, I went ahead and ordered the rebuild kit!

We keep them on hand but many times they can be cleaned up and reused as is.
