SUCCESS SOUNDS LIKE A VMAX! Rack is back on the bike, it synced easily this time. Idles really smooth, throttles up nice and crisp. What a difference an almost new carb rack makes. What a learning curve I had with this one. Thanks guys for the input and if any of you are intimidated by carbs, don't be, the repair was easy. Still, after this experience, I really love the FI on my FJR. Yeah, I know, it doesn't have the same soul as the Max!
