Ev on her new "big block" Gen2 Vmax chasing down my 1987 "small block" Gen1 Vmax.
Ev had a terrible start, but still caught me just over the line.
LOTS of top end on the new big Vmax..........

What the Gen 2 does best still, after almost 6 years of ownership, is put a smile on my face every time I take it out. :biglaugh:

I couldn't care less what comes out every year, that might get me at the racetrack.

It is absolutely the BEST thing I ever bought in my life....nothing else comes close.

I ve owned more Vmax's ( 6 total ) than probably anyone on this forum save for one or two other people, I have and still do produce parts for the Vmax and built many Vmax's for other people.

So please, do tell how much I hate Vmax's :rofl_200:

If we are going to pick apart videos on a serious note, which I was joking with that post, Lets take that Lee vs Pee Wee racing, were Lee was running I believe 8.90's on the red ZX and Pee Wee was running 9.50's built gen 2....

I was just messing around, and not sure if you are too, but you sounded a little butt hurt there.

Im with you Mark if we didnt love the vmax so much we wouldnt have stayed with the Gen1 so long .. I loved the gen1 even after 50 miles of riding and the ol ass getting sore or the small fell of it at times with 2 people on it I loved to play with it and do things to it and waited along time for a new version and it puts a smile on my Face every time I ride also but with a bit more comfort for me..:worthy:
If i wanted to just be fast I would have jumped on that Busa wagon years ago If i just wanted a cruiser I would have got a street glide or some thing but the gen2 max is everything in one to me it handles great.. its got power..its got speed.. 2 up is no problem..I can only say 2 bad things the gas range is on the low side and you need a rear tire often..:confused2: but that could be my fault on the tire ..lol

The low range is what really kept me from getting one, and the high price. Other than that the Gen 2 I rode was good.

Low fuel range and no traction tires ???? Are we talking about a gen 1 ?? Oh I forgot a gen 2. How in the world did Yammy do it again ??? Guess we got to spend all our money again to get it right.
