Vmax 2003

Hey,

Appreciate all the forum help so far.

Back again with another question, I have a 2003 VMAX in Black with Silver Stripes.

I'm trying to purchase some OEM parts for it but theres a few different models from 2003 and I don't understand what the difference is between each?

Say I buy a Chain Case cover will that come unfinished or in the engine paint that's used on my model?

I've included and image of the different versions.

There are 2 models for each year VMax.....

California model, followed by a "C"
Non-California model...........no "C"

Only difference I'm aware of is minor jetting changes and the CA models have a carbon canister for pollution control, both models will have the same chain case.

The Partshark parts listing has a listing for a:
VMX1200R
VMX1200RC
VMX12R

I understand the "C", but what's the difference between the VMX1200R and the VMX12R?

As far as I know, nothing.

Boats.net just has the "C" version, and then the Non C version. I wonder if its a typo?
