I believe a digital signal requires 'line of sight'
LOS is not really needed, because the signal does penetrate thru walls, brick etc, but of course, the closer you are to the broadcasting location, the more stable the digital signal will be. Now if your behind a mountain, that may be a problem. When I built my antenna, I knew that the collecting area where the signal hit was small on those "Nice Looking" small Walmart antennas. I made one, following a design found on YouTube and it works well. Since it was cheap to make, I fooled around with a few designs. This one worked the best for me. This used to have a Direct TV Satellite but now works with a remote control and can do a 360. Lots and lots of free channels-----:clapping:
