could be a nightmare. u'd probably make more money parting it out on fleabay... depends on condition n whatnot. if the carbs are in good shape thats probably 1/2 of the 1500 right there.

The bulk of the value on the $1500 bike is gone with the bad engine. If the bike was excellent then it would be on OK buy if you get a good complete engine for it.

He sad a knocking noise. A quick drain of the oil when you go to look at it would let you know. The carbs if they have good rubber parts in them are worth a good portion.
