Is that type of plug really sufficient for keeping out moisture. Just asking.

I wouldn't say water tight, as in submersion. But I'm thinking they will do the job in the rain and hold up to a bike washing.

I have a set of that style on my Morley carbs and they hold very well and are easy enough to remove when needed.
Actually you would want them to "breath" a little so the heat cycle will not build up moisture in there. It would be good to keep a drop of light oil in there from time to time as well.

They came in. After tuning my bike for the cooler weather 33degF outside right now. I put a spritz of wd40 in the holes and then the plugs. They fit great.
Now it's time to enjoy the final two days of my riding season. :clapping:
