Hey guys, just got the motor back in my VMAX, runs and rides great. I'm not noticing any strange things on the road yet as far as handling, but since I did have the rear swingarm out, how do I reset the "alignment" of the swingarm? What's the proper way to go about this procedure? I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Thanks!

do you mean the rear pumpkin or with the bolts on each side?

Not much to it. One pivot bolt has no adjustment. Crank it down tight per the spec. The other once gets snugged up with an allen key and then the locking nut gets cranked down. Its in the manual.

As far as the diff goes, put the nuts on hand tight. install the wheel, axle, all the spacers, etc. then torque the diff nuts to spec.

Be sure to lube the ends of the driveshaft, the fingers that engage the dampers on the rear wheel, and the splines on the rear wheel. The manual call for moly paste. Most guys just use grease.
