Anyone have experience with some of the cheapies like these:

Do you usually worm clamp into your bleeder valve?

Trying to bleed by hand was kind of an exercise in futility. Also, if this works I'll let you folks know for 11 bucks magic can happen for the price of a coffee or two.

No experience of that jobbie; a large syringe + a length of silicon hose does it for me.
Yup! Dont buy a cheap tool when you can make it yourself.

If you search reverse bleed and my name you can get info on the tool I made, using a 60 ml syringe & a metal valve stem w/a couple rubber gaskets. There is an explanation of how to use the syringe.

The simple way is to get a 60 ml syringe & one having a tapered tip, not one which locks a needle on w/a twist, called Luer lock.

My instrument has a larger flow, so a bit quicker in use. You can find a large syringe in your friendly grocery store, a meat 'flavor injector.' Or get one at the pharmacy, ask for an irrigation syringe. I find a 60 ml size works well. 1 ml=1 cc.
