i have an o6 vmax, was wondering about prestone coolant, i've heard of putting toyota red or honda blue....i just got mine changed out to regular prestone...

Any brand name, quality anti-freeze is fine....changing regularly is the key!

+1, but I would add that you should check the bottle and make sure that it is appropriate for aluminum block engines. Some are not and can potentially cause issues, something about the silica content or something. Know it was discussed here on the forum once or twice.

Correct. Stay away from the GM "Orange" antifreeze. Should be plenty of info online about they problems they have with it. Everything else is a go.
