After interest on another part of this site.
This is a cheap mod to tidy up the rear diff breather ,
it has no functional use , just cosmetic.
buy a crankcase breather from an auto spares shop or Ebay

push it onto the max diff breather and PRESTO, a tidy rear end and something for the Harley guys to wonder about!!!

Isn't the stock pressed in breather a bitch to get out?I have heard of guys putting chrome virago ones in.
 
no, your missing the point,this filter fits OVER the stock one which still operates as normal
 
I see now.I even have one already that will probably fit right on there.You would want to make sure not to cover the stock breather down too far with the rubber boot of the new one.Seal it up and it can't breathe.

thats right,but most of these little filters are just about right but best to check and if needs be trim the rubber a little
