Got my son a Yamaha PW80 for his 8th birthday. It's his new pride and joy. Think he might have more miles in the back yard than mine! That thing is awesome for him! His favorite part is parking it next to the Max.......so proud. ....lol:scooter 1:

Fun little bikes. I found one in pieces for free a few years back. Rebuilt the motor with ebay parts for a rediculously low amount of money and taught my son how to ride on it.

Passed it along to another in the family. Son is now riding a klx110 that was passed down to him.

Yep, a great way to ride, safer than a minibike, and riding offroad 1st is the best way to develop your skills. Of course at that age, that's the only legal way to ride

It's the 3 speed manual shift on the fly, no clutch. He picked up on it easily. A perfect learning bike.
