Used to we're gel riding gloves when I rode a Cannondale bicycle. Had gel in the palm and on the fingers, they were tipless. Now I am looking for some gloves with a lot of gel padding.

Let me hear from you what gel gloves you use. have been looking at a lot of them from motorcycle superstore.

I used some fingertipless gel gloves when I used to ride MTB. I thought I might need some gloves with gel palms until I learned that I was tensing up my from my shoulders to my hands. I also changed the handlebars from stock to drag bars.
I'm not sure why you are looking for the gel type padded gloves but my hands were going numb(mostly my right hand). Since I learned to do regular shoulder rolls my hand numbness is almost completely gone.
I hope this is of some help, I know you were looking for information on gloves with gel on the palms. Here are some gel gloves by Tourmaster: http://www.motorcyclegear.com/stree...ur_master/adventure_gel_motorcycle_glove.html

There's a number of bike gloves available. I use these. A lot of padding, cheap and they last a full season.
