Didn't see that anyone had started one, so here we go.

I'm still running OEM Bridgestones, BT028, front and rear. If you've run something else on the Gen2, please share.

shinko verge in front $80 bucks shipped rated at 168mph


have 210/40-18 marathon meltzer in rear. $250 rated to 130mph.

will be adding shinko verge 200-50-18 to the rear in the next 1000 miles. $135

the verge's are nice tires. trying the advance next for the 130 front. (gen 1 tho)

A lot of guys run with great results, the Avon Cobra 240 rear and the Avon Storm II Front. I got 11048 miles on the rear my last 240!! That included over 40 passes (with good burn outs) at the strip. Now a big amount of miles are highway miles on ol' red but they tire lasts and lasts.. Hooks up great at the track, decent after warm up on the street
