It came in on the afternoon of the 30th. I did the assembly and dealer prep then took my first ride at 5m The temp was 16 degrees so I only put on about 4 miles. Today (31st) at a balmy 33 degrees I did about 45 miles.
It is everything that yamaha claims. I found 1st gear a little tall but that may just be due to the extra weight. The bike is very nimble once rolling. Can't wait to get it in the twistys. You can almost make a lane change just by thinking about it. It pulls hard from 3000 rpm and up. Very nice shifting bike. You can click it up through the gears without clutch It is everything that the 1st generation was not. Speed is very deceiving compared to the first generation. You don't feel the acceleration or speed in the seat of your pants as much as the 1st generation.
