Hi Folks,
I am always interested in learning how our bike works. In the case of the tach, how are the rpms being calculated?
I mean, when I buy an inductive tach, and stick it on the cables, I know for sure that that spark plug wire is firing at X times. beit only one cable.
so how is our tach getting the info? also, when mine shoots up and down, what's causing it. is it reading the actual sporatic nature of the engine? Mind you, I am waiting for my sync tool to get things dialed in.
just curious, any takers?
