I'm still not sold on electric vehicles.....the battery technology just isn't there yet. When they have a car that can go 300 miles on a charge, recharge in 10 minutes or less, and have the battery last for 100k miles, I'll buy one.
I guess for commuting around a city it'd be good though. Still...it costs 3500 euros for a goofy looking electric bike that has a range of about 6 miles at 15mph, so not even 30 minutes of runtime. Hardly a bargain. You can buy a used bicycle, a deep cycle battery, and a motor from tractor supply for well under $500, and have a Mongoose that goes 40mph for over 25 miles(someone here at school did that).
