I'm somewhat embarrassed, but if my grandfather was alive, I know he'd be saying in his South Mississippi drawl "Boy, you are ate up with that motorcycle." So I saw the Best Wife Ever Award thread last week which I thought was an awesome gift. But once I read that thread the kid in me immediately went "Wow! I didn't know they made die cast models of the VMax!" So I did a quick Google search and one of the first ones that pop up is almost an exact replica of my VMax... well... my VMax is about as stock as they come, but it was the same color! So of course, abiding by the rule of "Dude, that's totally a sign you have to buy that" -- I bought it. And now it sits here at my work desk... my subtle way of telling my co-workers that I'm a 43 year old kid.

Yep I am ate up with my VMax.

I have one here at work, and another on the desk at home. Also, if you find a stout branch on the Christmas tree........they hang nicely.

I'm sort of bummed they have yet to produce any Gen II's, but Walmart did sell some biker themed shirts this summer with a Gen II depicted amongst the other bikes.

I had a Black one years ago that got lost during a move so I was extremely happy when I won another (even though it's silver) at the VMOA dinner at Thunder last year !!!!

Heck, I'm a 52 year old kid!!........Not only do I regularly smoke the tire and ride like a hooligan, I still climb on one of the mini bikes I have and buzz the neighborhood or do a group ride!.............Sheesh...........43 years old..............Rookie!...........:biglaugh:...............Tom.
