In tank fuel pumps..

As space is limited on my build I've been looking at in-tank pumps.
However I know nothing about the different types.
Most I've seen are for injected bikes and have I assumed a flow and return pipe.
Anyone got any experience with these....I'm guessing they're not suitable for carbies ???

Problem i see would be is keeping the pump immersed, you run the gas too low and its in the air it overheats, doable with a regulator.

Is space too limited for a Mr. Gasket pump? You can cut the case of that thing down pretty small.

Not saying don't go in-tank, but it might not be worth the hassle. Can you post some drawings of your build concept? Are you relocating the coolant overflow tank, too?
