Lowrance is a brand name supplier specializing in marine electronics. That is a really low price for a color screen, waterproof GPS. I would Google the brand and model number to see if there are any reviews out there.

I looking at getting a GPS for my Max, and ran across this one.

Anyone know anything about this GPS?

There is an optional handlebar mount for it also.

I was looking for a MC GPS myself. One I cuold also use off road (boat and hike ) Waterproof, touchscreen, battery operation were key. As it was a second GPS- I didn't want to pay >$150 for it since I have an ASUS A696.

That left out all the current models.

Lowrance XOG, Magellan Crossover, Garmin had the Street Pilot 2700&2800 series, I forget what TomTom had since they were Waaay out of the price box.

I found this review most helpfull re XOG vs Magellan:

the other reviews on the XOG were 50/50.

IF I get another GPS for the bike I am leaning toward the Magelan, unless i decide to spend more $ and then it will be one of the Garmin Oregon's. For now the ASUS siting under the plastic on my Tank bag works great.
