Hi all,

Title says it. I'm looking for some short signals that have a matte black finish. Any help would be appreciated.

I've found a bunch of chrome etc, no black ones though.

Yeah! It's a bitch! I got some cheap black plastic ones that are finished in a way to make them look matte.

Check out my Garage pics.

Lockhart Phillips website has different styles in black - look under "lightworks" in catalog

Thanks for the link Mike, they look nice. It's hard to tell from the pics but they look like standard bolt on for the laser led model, here's a link showing the light

Also, I believe I can use whatever lens in the rear, is there a requirement for the front blinker lens?

I think you mean the razor led, anyways all these small signal lights bolt is smaller is diameter than the original vmax ones, so you'll need a large washer on each side of stock mounting hole to mount right. As far as the lens colors, etc... you will need to check with your local laws.

I bought the Lockhart Phillips aluminum shortstalks and had them powdercoated.

cost a little bit more than plastic (4 signals and 2 scoops coated for $100) but the quality is better and I don't like the way LEDs look on the Vmax anyway.

Looks great, they really set off the bike.:punk:

keep in mind that you will have to cut down the threaded shaft to fit on the rear. they are too long and hit the rear fender. So cut them after you remove the guts and before you send them in for coating.:eusa_dance:

sorry if that little tip is late.
