Hi Gary and as has been said by others welcome!! A smart man once told me that you have to remember that you, and you alone, are throttle control. If you respect the Max and remember your limits as well as its you will be fine. If you forget and the right hand twists a bit hard and you get in over your head, its too late. The problem most riders have is that by the time they realize that they may be in trouble, they already are way beyond their capability to recover. :stretche:

My advice is, if you want a Max, go for it, but take it easy and get to know the bike before you push it. No two bikes are the same and each has its own quirks. If I am taking out a friends Max I am very easy on it as I don't know its tendencies, on mine I know my limits with it so I can push it a lot more.
