No real diagram of carbs?

after 22 years, does not seem like anyone has ever made a real cutaway diagram of our barbs. I mean, the http://www.geocities.com/motorcity/speedway/2476/basics.htm link is acceptable, but how about one showing all the goodies on the downdraft types?

that diagram always confused me how the fuel gets from the float to the mixture. cannot visualize the path.

Which path? Pilot mixture? I can break down what jet feeds what, etc.

well... the fuel that comes form the mixture adjustments. I mean, that stuff is on the opporite side of the float bowl. talking about mind boggling.

i got a very gassy idle.... horrible gas mileage and all involved say check on the main jet, or the floats. All well and good, but isnt the mixture whats going into the idle?

hehe, all could be solved by tearing into it, but I can't grease up the house till some houseguests leave so im just sleuthing till then.

Maleko, I will relook at your exploded image a bit more but damn it confuses me.
