No tach or temp gauge

I started my 1985 vmax today after painting the side covers and replacing all gaskets.There is no tach or temp gauge.The lights on the gauge cluster work as do the neutral light and signal indictor.Where is the best place to start? Is there more fuses other than the 4 under the seat? Thanks for any help. Almost time to ride around here

Just the four fuses and the main fuse.

I would pull the tach and make sure you have 12 volts at both brown wires. One goes to tach, and another goes to the temp gauge. Check the black wires too for good grounds.

I put a set of smaller signals lights on and one wire wasn't hooked up.Thanks for the help

Mine stick on my '85. A gentle whack on the side of that silver gauge pod fixes it 100% of the time.
