Oil Drain Bolt Question

I'm changing my oil for the first time since I've owned the bike and noticed that the drain bolt has a screw tapped in the center of it. The question is why ? Also the PO did not install the washer on top of the spring for the oil filter so I'm off to the dealer to get the washer. More in gas that for the part :bang head:

The screw in the drain plug is for the magnet. You might want to get one. Smart getting the washer. I believe that washer goes in the housing first to serve as a spring seat. Sean has a very good video on the forum regarding it. If you need to order, you might want to just get it from Sean too. He does a lot for everyone here and it's just right to support him when I can.

Already got one at the dealer. Couldn't wait to go for a ride. I plan to give Sean some business when time and $$ become available. His video was very helpful. That's why I knew the washer was missing.
