Pickup coil from a 99 Venture???

I would charge quite a bit more ($150) but they are ridiculous new. I still am not sure if that other will work but it very well might.

If I can poke my head in here... I can tell you it won't work. Last summer when I was trying to get a VMX ignition module to work in my bike, one problem I learned about the hard way is that it wouldn't read my stock pickup coil (which is the same coil as the '99 and later Ventures). I found out that the ohm spec is different. I had to get a VMX pickup coil for it.

I hear tell that the '93 and earlier Ventures do have the same pickup coil as a VMX though. You might look for one of those.

90 - 93 ventures for the 90 and up vmax's for sure will work from what I can see on the fiche.

83-89 ventures for the 85-89 vmax's
