Thanks Rusty, but my nearest Lowes/ Home Depot is 1.5 hrs away. I have a few resources locally that I can find a suitable spacer.
I run a 200/55-18 on the rear Carrozzeria but I have a braced 3" over swingarm from Sean, no clearance problems. Here is a picture, albeit not the greatest shot, but there is about 2 quarters width clearance there. The fat tire wouldnt alow me to get a good angle with the camera.

If you have any difficulty finding what you need let me know I can pick some up and mail them to you.
Mine ended up like this.

What 200/55-18 are you guys running? I've got a Shinko Verge 200/50-18 on my Kosman (heavy as hell) and its almost exactly the size of the 170 Shinko bias ply I took off but I love the Shinko Verge I've got on there, hooks hard and considering how hard I've beat it this year its been wearing well... It's a replacement tire for a gen 2 Vmax...

I'm running the Shinko Verge as well. I haven't put 200 miles on my new setup yet but what riding I have done they seem pretty grippy.

120/70 was way too big for a factory rim. you really need a 3.5" rim for that tire. i recently fitted a 130/70 up front on a cazz wheel (18x3.5") and it fits good as well.

our stock wheels are like a 1.85" or something so a 110 is pushing it. battlax 016 in 110 form are on sale for like $85 from bikebandit.. my brother just got one and its ready to be mounted.

too much to consider for recommendations on rear, depends on offset and such.

Think the front is 2.15". I put the 110/80-18 radial on mine as I felt the 120/70-18 just wouldnt fit properly. Also it is even shorter than the 110/80. Wish someone made a 110/90-18 radial!! :bang head:

i very well could be mistaken. for some reason i thought the venture front is 2.15 and ours is 1.85. either way, much too narrow for a 120 tire.

Based on the tire size calculator sites out there, I think 180 60 17 is about as close to stock as it gets. Its -0.5% shorter in height, but there are only a couple of tires in that size. Does anyone have an opinion on Pirelli Night Dragons? seems they were designed for power cruisers, and come in a 60 profile which the other brands only have 180 55 17. Other than that, a 190 55 17 comes close to stock, but like others have said, a 190 isnt meant for a 5.5inch wide wheel

Most 190's will fit just fine on a 5.5", we've also fit 200's on our 5.5" 18" Carr wheels without and problems or adverse handling.

200 on a 5,5", isn't it too much squeezing the tire?
I run a 190/50 on one but wondering if the 200 would cup funny, like what a 120 can do on a stock wheel.

Not sure. It works fine on all the ones I have sold and on my personal bike. See those recent pics in FB for what it looks like. They are tall tires so the sidewall is more forgiving.
