rear wheel conversion

years ago I had a stock rim widened using a gsxr rim as a donor. guy took my rim and machined off lip and cut/welded donor rim onto vmax rim. He machined off welds on outside and wheel was perfect. Anyone know of where this guy was from? Thought Milwaukee...Jim

There's no advantage to keeping the stock dia., did you enlarge the dia? Kosman Engineering is the co. most people use for modded wheels, in either 17" or 18".

What about the guy on EBay selling his converted wheel with the slight offset issue I believe.
