WOW! thanks for the heads up Tim.unk: I got a cycle gear near me, Ill check it out. Engine Ice is pricey stuff. I won't use anything else:biglaugh:

that stuff is seriously $18 for half a gallon?...and that's on sale?

that's about 10x the cost of regular coolant. When I did mine I got a jug of generic brand coolant that was in the clearance bin at advance auto. It was like $5. Which got me 2 gallons of mixed, so a half gallon was about $1.25

Never had a single issue with heat. Seems like kind of a rip off. :confused2:

I found the formula for engine ice on thumpertalk. Diy and much cheaper. They had the formula for seafoam as well.

i still just use toyota red. silicate free. easy to find. $25 a gallon ish. mixed 50/50 thats $12 a gallon

I use what is available on the shelf. Prestone, Super Tech. Never have a problem with heat.
