This may be a dumb question but I have one of Seans seats
and was wondering what you guys are using to keep them
from cracking. My bike sits outdoors as I have no garage
and I'd hate to have the seat degrade. I have some 303
protectant which is supposed to block 100 of the UV rays.
When I bought my Tonneau cover the manufacterer ( Pace Edwards) recomended it. Don't want to use Armorall or any
of those oily products that yellow.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

We do use UV resistand thread and stainless staples. The vinyl is -20 rated too but still can crack when it gets really cold.

which reminds me nt seat is the ugliest half-grey oil stained looking thing that's killing the look of my bike...

I will be sending it Sean soon :)

303 is the only product I know that the vinyl manufacturers certified to be used on their material. I use it on the boat load of vinyl on the boat. Also VRT from Adams has no silicon in it and has an SPF rating of like 60 or 65 which is what I use on my car. It's a gel or creme form and it seems to last a little longer IMO. Just an observation.
