I have a really nice 1985 VMax that a year ago developed an electrical problem that cannot be fixed. So I’m breaking it down and selling all parts including the cool seat, black chrome exhaust, original wheels and front end, engine with under 15,000 miles, suspension etc.
Can anyone tell me the best place to sell the parts?

No way I'd break that bike down and part it out over an supposed non fixable electrical issue. Whatever it is can DEFINITELY be fixed.

So you have an electrical problem that can't be fixed and a black chrome exhaust system you don't know the name of...and a cool seat? Almost sounds familiar.

Hes right tho, it is a cool seat.

And the black exhaust looks like a stocker to me, could be modded/drilled though.



Curious though, what electrical problem happened within 15K? (other that someone "customizing" something).

'85? Front wheel is, but side covers are not. Shocks, forks, engine covers, scoops all have blacked out treatment. Hmmm...
