Wow, that is a nice RC plane. If you only saw the middle part of the video and lacked a scale reference you could easily mistake that for something at an airshow.

He did wreck it, in a corn field after he lost the spinner and prop while on final. I would guesstimate airframe, retracts, radio and motor around 10k.
Turbines easily more.
