Remaining final two lenses filed down and fitted.

Came to fit the last lens and the top screw was not gripping. Weird. I should point out at this stage that I bought the bike with tiny mirrored lens bullet style indicators that I replaced with look-a-likes, almost certainly not oem.

Turned out the screws were of different lengths, how can that happen? You are mass producing these so how can it make sense for that?

For a moment I did think I'd stripped the plastic but is this one an anomaly, so how did I manage to fit 3 others correctly if they all have different length screws, the odds of that are definitely against me., 1in 8?

Just awaiting for Amber LED bulbs to arrive.

I was stoked yesterday, got my 2010 back from Horsepower Logic. They installed my auto-tune to the Power Commander 5, this was after I installed the Voodoo exhaust and the Gurued Gear ECU flash. All I can say is Damn!!! Not only does it sound bad ass, the performance matches the sound. Rear rubber will not last very long! Next project is getting the seat shaved down a little.

wheel is almost ready for weld up. Next up.. Get some parts ordered and build a motor.View attachment 75658View attachment 75659View attachment 75660View attachment 75661View attachment 75662
tinman22, looks like your doing it right!

Way back about 2012 I had a 3 spoke rear wheel I bought off ebay.
It had a terrible 3/4" offset but fit the drive hub as if it were for a Vmax.
Because of the offset I could run a 190 tire in the stock swingarm.

It had no real markings like the Yamaha or Suzuki emblems like everybody seemed to think it was possibly made by.

Strange thing is there were no fabrication welds, it was cast as it was.
I looked around pretty good, even took it to our local bike salvage guru
to find out what it was off of, what bike was out there that had such a close to Vmax drive hub configuration with no luck.

I later sold it as a "kit", wheel, tire, and butchered swingarm to a guy in Colorado Springs that reposted it to ebay for twice what I sold it to him for.

The FJR1300 wheels were like that.
