Just out enjoying the day about to add a set of passenger lowering pegs so my wife isn’t in fetal position. Had them for awhile now just no time

Oh yeah, just the heat from the welding made that an easy removal, I suspect, and the perch of the weld bead for the driftpin/chisel to knock it out, easy-peasy.
 
Yeh more or less, not sure the heat made any difference but the tabs made it easy.
I've not had to use this method but from what i've read (in other forums) is that once the bead cools, it shrinks to pull on the race thus lossening it a bit. Seems plausible.
 
New mirrors, oil & filter, rear gear oil, fuel filter & engine coolant. Cleaned & recharged air filter/lid. Added some preload to rear shocks & air bleed front shocks. Overall wire, fluid, fastener, hose check in prep for a long ride.
 
Done a cherry red paint job today and put a new front fender on my personal bike and put a new front fender on a Harley that I painted for a customer
