Are EBC's a decent quality rotor? Do they look good 6mos later or can you watch them rust after washing your bike like Chinese rotors?

So i took my bike for a ride today after changing to r1 caliper and ebc hh pads, When i put the front brakes on the front wheel hops and pulsates? I scuffed the rotors prior to new pads.? About the front ens: I have the 17" cycle one off front wheel with rotor adapter, with stock rotors...

All beware when buying these rotors. Just got my set in to the tune of $435.00. They look good, bolts rite on, but there is one jacked up issue. The OEM rotor holes where the bolts (6) go are recessed in for clearance. BUT! The Pro-lites are not.. The bolt head is so close to the fork...

Reading articles and posts it appears that the EBC brake pads are the best replacement for the Vmax. I found the complete set front and rear on ebay (See link below). Any comments or suggestions are welcome before I make this purchase. Click Here!
