Anyone out there use a barsnake to reduce vibrations? Results good or bad?
Is it worth it? :ummm:

I have one in my 31inch flanders drag bars, IMO it makes a hell of a difference vibs way down, my hands used to go num after 30-40 miles now I can ride all day without that problem

I hear buck shot works just as good and is probably cheaper.

i've heard it works great. i've also ehard mark's method works well. i think m-cman does it

I just tried this in my bars. I had a bag of #6 shot for shotgun shell reloading. I taped one side of the bar ends off, and poured in the shot into the other end until full. I then used a 3/4'' wooden dowel rod for a plug. Then repeated the process on the other end.
So far I have only ridden locally, but seems to make a difference.
Cost= $1.50

Been using buckshot for years. Can't beat the price or effectiveness. Really dampens vibration due to the weight and mass.
